Breaking the Silence: NHS Talking Therapies Seminar at Imperial Apartments
At Caridon, we understand that wellbeing goes hand in hand with a safe, supportive home. That’s why we were proud to host an NHS Talking Therapies seminar at Imperial Apartments, aimed at helping residents access vital mental health support for conditions such as depression and anxiety.
Our Community and Engagement Officer, Vasudev Guigan, organised the event as part of our ongoing commitment to fostering resilience and wellbeing across our communities. The session was well attended, offering residents a chance to learn about available services, ask questions, and begin conversations that too often go unheard.
Breaking the silence around mental health starts with a conversation. Many residents took that step, with several already signing up for NHS Talking Therapies following the seminar. This reflects the trust we’re building and the value of creating spaces where people feel comfortable seeking help.
We’re dedicated to supporting the whole person. This event aligns with our values of compassion and empowerment, ensuring residents have the tools and support needed to thrive.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and to Vasudev for making this event possible. Together, we’re fostering a community where wellbeing is prioritised and stigma is challenged.
