Celebrating Caridon Young Living: Recognised for Excellence in Supporting Young People
It’s been a season of recognition and reflection for our Caridon Young Living team, who continue to make a real difference in the lives of young people every day.
Earlier this month, our team attended the National Children and Young People Awards 2025, where we were proud to be named finalists in two categories:
• The Employer Award (South): Suzanne Cooper
• The Children’s Home Manager Award (South): Darryl Marshalleck
We might not have come home with a trophy, but being recognised among the best in the sector is an achievement in itself. The evening was a brilliant opportunity to celebrate the incredible work happening across the country and to connect with others who share our passion for improving young people’s futures.
As Suzanne Cooper, our Director, reflected afterwards, the experience was a reminder of why this work matters: creating homes where young people feel safe, supported, and valued.
And the celebrations aren’t over yet. We’re delighted to share that Caridon Young Living has been named a finalist in the London Region of the Great British Care Awards for The Care Home Employer Award.
This nomination is yet another testament to the dedication and compassion of our team, whose commitment to high-quality care helps young people build brighter, more independent futures.
A big congratulations to Suzanne for her inspiring leadership, and to the entire Caridon Young Living team for everything they do day in and day out. Fingers crossed for the next awards night and for what promises to be another proud moment for our team.
