Community Spirit Soars with the Caridon Eagles

Last week, the Caridon Eagles took to the field in a spirited match against EWI Pro, battling hard in a thrilling game that ended 10-5. While the final score wasn’t in our favor, what truly stood out was the determination, teamwork, and community spirit displayed by our players.

The Caridon Eagles are more than just a football team—they embody our mission to foster connection, inclusivity, and engagement among our tenants. For several years, the Caridon Foundation has been organizing these matches, not just as friendly competitions but as a platform to promote active living, mental well-being, and a sense of belonging through sport.

Under the guidance of a professional football coach from Crystal Palace F.C., the Eagles train regularly, developing their skills and confidence both on and off the pitch. These sessions provide more than just athletic growth—they create a space for tenants to connect, support one another, and build a strong team spirit.

During the match, the Eagles displayed outstanding camaraderie, resilience, and commitment to one another. Every player gave their all, demonstrating that football isn’t just about the score—it’s about the bonds formed and the personal growth achieved as individuals and as a community.
