Halloween Spooktaculars Across Crawley, Harlow and Bristol: Bringing Communities Together
At Caridon, we believe community spirit thrives through shared experiences. This Halloween, we hosted celebrations across three of our sites: Sutherland Quarters in Crawley, Imperial Apartments in Bristol, and Templefields House in Harlow, each bringing a unique festive flavour to our residents and their families.
Crawley’s Spooktacular Adventure at Sutherland Quarters
Last Friday, Sutherland Quarters transformed into a mini Halloween adventure, delighting children with a thrilling cabin hunt for hidden chocolates alongside creative colouring and drawing sessions. The youngsters had a brilliant time letting their imaginations run wild. To keep the energy high, sweets were handed out throughout the afternoon, culminating in a family-friendly screening of Muppets: Haunted Mansion — a perfect way to end the spooky festivities.
Monique and the dedicated Sutherland Quarters team brought this event to life with great enthusiasm. The turnout was fantastic, and seeing our young residents enjoying themselves reminded us why community is at the heart of everything we do.
Bristol’s Festive Decor and Sweet Treats
Over in Bristol, the Imperial Apartments team added a Halloween touch with festive decorations, brightening the community spirit. Local residents, especially the younger ones, enjoyed receiving candies handed out during the event, spreading smiles and seasonal cheer.
Harlow’s Halloween Fancy Dress Competition at Templefields House
Templefields House in Harlow welcomed a mix of spooky little visitors and their grown-up counterparts for trick or treating in Reception. The highlight was a fancy dress competition with generous prizes: £50, £30 and £20 Smyths vouchers for first, second and third places respectively. Every participant who came down for trick or treat received a party bag filled with sweets, making sure no one left empty-handed.
Building Community Through Celebration
These Halloween events reflect our ongoing commitment to creating vibrant, inclusive communities where families and neighbours can come together, share experiences, and build lasting connections. Thanks to the teams at Crawley, Bristol and Harlow for their hard work and dedication, and to everyone who joined us in celebrating safely and joyfully.
