Mental Health Awareness Week 2025: Community in Action on the Pitch
This year’s Mental Health Awareness Week theme, Community, was perfectly captured during the eagerly awaited football match between the Caridon Eagles and our staff team. Hosted by Caridon Foundation, the game was a lively celebration of sport, camaraderie, and a touch of friendly rivalry. Highlights included goals from our Group Property Director James Ferrar and Group HR Director Anthony Badresingh, who brought plenty of energy and enthusiasm to the match.
For several years, these fixtures have gone far beyond just a game. They form part of a broader commitment to mental health and wellbeing, promoting active lifestyles while fostering meaningful connections between tenants and staff alike. It’s this sense of belonging and mutual support that truly drives the success of the Caridon Eagles project.
When people feel seen, valued, and part of a community, everyone benefits. The pitch might have been where the goals were scored, but the real victory was in bringing people together, lifting spirits, and strengthening bonds across our shared spaces.
