Caridon resident engagement programme delivers Easter event at Templefields House
On 31 March, Caridon's community team delivered an Easter farm experience at Templefields House in Harlow, welcoming 30 families to an afternoon with Manor Farm. The event was organised by Joint Group MD Lora Bencheikh, with support from Housing Officer Holly and Housing Benefit and Universal Credit Officer Zara on the ground.
The event gave families and adult residents a shared activity during the school Easter break, with Manor Farm delivering a hands-on session covering animal care. Every child attending received an Easter egg. Thirty families attended, alongside adult residents.
Resident engagement at this level is delivered at site rather than at scale. It requires a team that knows its community and shows up consistently. Group Housing Director James Evans said: "Keep up the great work and continue to put the tenants at the forefront of what we do."
This event is part of Caridon's commitment to social value and reflects the approach set out in our CSR report.
